A day plan for Turnagain False Shore

Turnagain False Shore looks like the inlet you already know until the tide writes a second beach in front of the first. Plan to walk the false one at slack and be off it before the real one remembers. I have this as a timetable. I have not missed the window on paper.

Bring more socks than the day requires and a layer you will not put on until the glacier pocket shows, which it will if you are facing the correct wrong direction. Book the return through Willow Notch if the light goes early.
